Job Overview
We are seeking a experienced of 2 years for a Bookkeeper with Inventory Control in Manufacturing knowelage to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, reconciling accounts, and supporting various accounting functions across multiple platforms. This role requires a strong understanding of manufacturing inventory control with accounting principles, proficiency with accounting and inventory software, and the ability to manage multiple financial tasks efficiently. The Bookkeeper will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity of our financial data and supporting the organization’s financial health.
Duties
- Manage and maintain accurate general ledger entries using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Enterprise, Sage, or similar platforms.
- Must understand inventory control Bill Of Materials', receiving in inventory and processing inventory to finished goods. This is a must.
- Perform bank reconciliations and account reconciliations to ensure consistency between bank statements and internal records.
- Prepare and record journal entries, including debits & credits, to reflect all financial transactions accurately.
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Assist with payroll processing and related tax filings, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
- Conduct balance sheet reconciliation and general ledger reconciliation to verify account accuracy.
- Support budgeting processes by analyzing financial data and preparing reports for management review.
- Ensure adherence to GAAP standards and other relevant accounting regulations, including governmental accounting where applicable.
- Assist in financial report writing and provide detailed account analysis as needed.
- Maintain organized records of all financial transactions and documentation for audit purposes.Experience
- Proven experience with accounting, and inventory control software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or similar platforms; experience in manufacturing-fabrication.
- Strong knowledge of corporate accounting principles, including double entry bookkeeping, mfg bill of materials , and general ledger accounting.
- Familiarity with technical accounting concepts such as account analysis, budget management, and tax preparation.
- Ability to perform account reconciliation tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Prior experience in public accounting and inventory control is advantageous.
