Responsibilities
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
- Manage electronic health records (EHR/EHR), accurately documenting medical histories, treatment plans, and patient condition reports.
- Conduct health education sessions to inform patients about procedures, medications, and post-care instructions.
- Facilitate patient service by greeting patients warmly, answering questions, and coordinating appointment schedules efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of clinical areas while adhering to infection control protocols and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant with current certification from an accredited program.
- Proven experience in Family Practice/Internal Medicine.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, medical documentation practices, and nursing fundamentals.
- Hands-on experience with EMR/EHR systems for managing electronic health records effectively.
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification required.
- Excellent client communication skills with a compassionate approach to patient service.
- Prior clinic experience in a fast-paced setting is preferred.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
