Production Supervisor / Process Technician Job Summary
· Supervise a production shift of up to 10 employees, including Press Operators, Material Handlers, and Quality, while ensuring safe, efficient operations.
· Maintain accountability for safety, quality, productivity, labor utilization, scrap reduction, and on-time delivery.
· Assign work based on employee skills and production requirements.
· Monitor machine performance, materials, equipment, and staffing to minimize downtime.
· Coach, train, and develop employees while maintaining a positive work environment.
· Maintain housekeeping and equipment standards.
· Ensure compliance with all safety policies and immediately correct unsafe conditions.
· Conduct shift handoff meetings and review production performance and efficiencies.
· Maintain accurate production documentation and reports.
Minimum Qualifications
· Minimum five (5) years of plastic injection molding experience.
· Experience with mold setup, processing, and materials.
· Strong leadership and communication skills.
· Ability to read blueprints and troubleshoot molding defects.
· Ability to train employees and make independent decisions.
· Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds. Must possess sufficient vision, depth perception, color vision, and hearing to safely perform essential job functions.
