Die Repair (Direct Hire) - Twinsburg, Ohio
We are currently hiring for 2nd and 3rd shift openings with a compensation rate of $35.00 per hour.
Shift Schedule Details

The second shift operates from 3:00pm to 11:00pm

The third shift operates from 11:00pm to 7:00am
Core Responsibilities

Restore and upkeep trim and casting dies to meet precise original standards by utilizing all relevant machinery.

Follow guidance and directives provided by your Supervisor or Team Leader.

Utilize cranes, lift trucks, and specialized cleaning tools to move, sanitize, and dismantle dies for necessary repairs.

Construct and swap out various components, cores, and segments by referencing technical blueprints.

Improve die cavity surfaces through precise grinding and polishing techniques.

Ensure production continuity by addressing dimensional issues, extracting stuck castings, and swapping punches while dies remain mounted.

Execute welding tasks within the foundry and repair shop to support operational needs.

Identify and resolve tooling malfunctions to help maintain consistent production output.

Maintain accurate documentation, including work orders, pictorials, and sign-off records.

Ensure the department and your immediate workspace remain organized and tidy.

Assist in the development and training of incoming staff members.

Support the overall safety and efficiency of the department by completing additional tasks as requested by leadership.
Qualifications and Background

Demonstrate relevant experience in this field, with up to two years of training expected; possession of Tool & Die Journeyman credentials is advantageous.

Provide evidence of at least two years of hands-on experience in grinding or draw polishing die cavities.

Exhibit the technical proficiency required to execute complex tasks and troubleshoot intricate mechanical issues.

Hold an Associate degree, a technical or trade school certification, or a journey person card.
