The Logistics Supervisor is a senior operational role that serves as the day-to-day supervisor and subject matter expert for Screen Innovations’ logistics and warehouse teams, supporting manufacturing operations that produce multiple audio-visual (AV) product lines including projector screens and window shades. Functioning as a working supervisor, the Logistics Supervisor is the primary operational resource on the floor for both Logistics Coordinators and Warehouse Associates — helping coordinate daily workflow, supporting execution of operational priorities, ensuring work is completed accurately and efficiently, reinforcing established procedures and safety requirements, and serving as the first point of contact for day-to-day operational questions and issues.
This role bridges frontline operations and department leadership. The Logistics Supervisor remains actively engaged in daily logistics and warehouse activities while providing leadership through expertise, coordination, communication, and accountability. The position reports directly to the Director of Logistics & Warehousing.

Coordinate daily logistics: Coordinate and support daily shipping, receiving, and fulfillment activities.

Ensure timely fulfillment: Ensure timely processing of customer orders and outbound shipments.

Support carrier coordination: Support carrier scheduling and shipment coordination.

Manage international shipments: Coordinate and oversee international and export shipments, including required documentation and carrier coordination.

Monitor workflows: Monitor logistics workflows to ensure timely completion of operational tasks.

Resolve issues: Assist in resolving shipment discrepancies, documentation issues, and operational challenges.

Maintain records: Maintain accurate logistics records and documentation.

Support fulfillment activities: Support Logistics and warehouse activities including order fulfillment, boxing, labeling, palletizing, staging, and shipment preparation.

Load and unload: Assist with loading and unloading trailers, containers, and delivery vehicles.

Coordinate material movement: Coordinate material movement and storage activities.

Maintain work areas: Ensure warehouse work areas remain organized, safe, and operationally efficient.

Support all product lines: Responsibilities extend to all product lines, including both screens and window shades.

Guide the team: Provide day-to-day guidance and support to Logistics Coordinators and Warehouse Associates.

Onboard and train: Onboard and train new team members.

Assign work: Assign and coordinate daily work assignments and operational priorities.

Oversee team responsiveness: Ensure Logistics Coordinators reply promptly to all stakeholders.

Ensure daily fulfillment: Confirm that orders scheduled to ship on a given day are actioned on time.

Escalate exceptions: Bring any work not handled within the expected timeframe to the Director’s attention promptly.

Reinforce procedures: Reinforce compliance with standard operating procedures and safety requirements.

Troubleshoot: Serve as a resource for troubleshooting operational issues.

Respond promptly: Provide timely, service-oriented responses to all who reach out to logistics, including internal stakeholders such as the sales department, ensuring the best possible service.

Drive continuous improvement: Assist with continuous improvement initiatives and promote operational excellence across logistics and warehouse functions.

Minimum of 5 years of logistics experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity.

Experience with international shipping, customs documentation, or freight-forwarding processes.

Demonstrated experience coordinating operational activities in a warehouse or logistics environment.

Experience using warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems, shipping software, or related logistics technologies.

Demonstrated ability to lead, train, and develop team members.

Strong organizational and communication skills.

Ability to prioritize competing operational demands in a fast-paced environment.

Experience supporting cross-functional logistics and warehouse teams.

Forklift certification or the ability to obtain certification (the company can provide training for qualified candidates).

Prior experience working within a NetSuite ERP environment.

Ability to work on-site in a manufacturing and warehouse environment throughout the full shift, including standing and being on your feet for extended periods consistent with warehouse and manufacturing industry standards.

Ability to move throughout the warehouse and production floor as required by daily operational and coordination activities.

Ability to lift and handle materials as needed within the warehouse environment, including lifting up to 50 lbs regularly.

Ability to perform the physical demands of warehouse work, such as loading and unloading trailers, containers, and delivery vehicles, and repetitive bending, reaching, lifting, and moving goods.

Location: 100% on-site at our Austin, TX manufacturing facility (9715 Burnet Road, Suite 400, Austin, TX 78758). This role cannot be performed remotely. No exceptions.

Work Environment: Work takes place on-site in a warehouse environment.

Current Schedule: Full-time, 100% on-site, Monday through Friday, standard daytime hours.

Schedule Flexibility: Hours may adjust based on production and business needs but will remain within standard daytime plant operating hours, Monday through Friday. This role does not require evening, overnight, or weekend shifts.
