Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and reliable Montacargista / Ayudante en Bodega to join our dynamic warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, and efficiently load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse. Your proactive approach will ensure smooth order picking, shipping, and receiving processes while maintaining a safe and organized work environment. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in warehouse operations and heavy equipment handling in a fast-paced setting. This is an indoor and outdoor job opportunity.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery safely and efficiently to load and unload goods.
- Handle materials with care, ensuring proper stacking, storage, and inventory management according to warehouse standards.
- Support shipping and receiving activities by verifying incoming and outgoing shipments, completing necessary documentation, and maintaining records.
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to organize stock movement and optimize space utilization.
- Skills
- Proven experience in warehouse distribution, order picking, and materials handling.
- Experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts and loading & unloading machinery.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems and shipping & receiving procedures.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during order picking and stock organization.
- Experience working with pallet jacks, construction tools, and other warehouse equipment.
- Excellent teamwork skills with previous warehouse experience or logistics experience preferred.
