Travel RN - Med/Surg Tele

Job Details

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position with a minimum of 2 years of RN experience and Epic proficiency required.

Inpatient Med/Surg unit with telemetry capability
Patient population includes general medical/surgical, observation, respiratory, palliative, end-of-life, hospice, psychiatric observation, and diabetic patients
Surgical and surgical observation patients are also part of the caseload
Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Every other weekend (EOW) required; holiday coverage as needed
Floating may be required across all facilities within the health system
Epic EMR experience is mandatory
13-week contract

Active NC or compact RN license required
Current BLS certification required
Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
Epic EMR experience is mandatory
Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates
Copy of driver's license required for consideration
2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration

All RNs must pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam during onboarding — two attempts are allowed; candidates should prepare in advance as study materials are not provided by the facility
Prior Charge RN experience is preferred
Zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
