Overview
We are seeking a professional and compassionate LICENSED and CERTIFIED manager to oversee the daily operations of our 10-bed assisted living facility.
This vital role combines operational oversight with hands-on resident care, ensuring a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for our residents. Duties
- Oversee daily operations of the assisted living facility, ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations.
- Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized care plans tailored to each resident’s unique needs, including Alzheimer’s and dementia care.
- Supervise staff members across various roles, including nursing, caregiving, social work, and administrative personnel, fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Manage budgeting, financial planning, and resource allocation to maintain efficient facility operations.
- Ensure medication administration is performed accurately and safely in accordance with healthcare standards.
- Coordinate with healthcare providers, families, and community resources to support residents’ well-being and social engagement.
- Lead staff training initiatives on topics such as assisted living best practices, safety protocols, medication management, and emergency procedures.
- Monitor resident safety and comfort continuously while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and facility maintenance.
Skills
- Proven experience in assisted living or nursing home management with strong knowledge of senior care practices.
- Extensive background working with individuals with developmental disabilities or memory-related conditions such as Alzheimer’s disease.
- Expertise in creating and managing care plans that address complex health needs including dementia care.
- Demonstrated leadership skills in supervising teams within long-term care or group home settings.
- Strong operational management abilities including budgeting, resource planning, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with residents’ families, healthcare professionals, and staff members.
- Knowledge of medication administration protocols and safety standards for eldercare environments.
