Job Summary
Wee Rockets is seeking passionate and positive people for our Lead Teacher and Assistant teacher position. The Lead and Assistant Teacher will play a pivotal role in designing engaging curriculum, fostering inclusive classroom communities, and supporting the developmental growth of children. Duties:
- Provide active supervision of children at all times.
- Maintain required staff-to-child ratios.
- Ensure the classroom remains clean, organized, and safe.
- Follow all emergency procedures and safety protocols.
- Report injuries, incidents, or concerns immediately.
- Follow health and sanitation procedures, including diapering, toileting, handwashing, and meal service.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning through play.
- Create a welcoming, engaging classroom environment.
- Support positive behavior using developmentally appropriate guidance techniques.
- Encourage independence, problem-solving, and social-emotional development.
- Build positive relationships with children and families.
- Complete daily reports.
Qualifications:
- Ability to pass a background check.
- High school diploma or equivalent or currently attending.
Physical Requirements:
- Lift up to 50 pounds.
- Bend, squat, kneel, and sit on the floor for extending periods.
- Respond quickly during emergencies.

Pay: $11.00 - $15.50 per hour
