Duties
- Efficiently wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using proper cleaning techniques.
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure all areas meet health and safety standards.
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as organizing supplies and handling ingredients as needed for kitchen operations.
- Support bussing duties by clearing tables and assisting with the setup and breakdown of banquet or catering events.
- Follow food handling protocols to ensure hygiene and prevent cross-contamination during cleaning processes.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely availability of clean dishes and utensils for service.
- Contribute to overall kitchen cleanliness through routine cleaning tasks like sweeping, mopping, and waste disposal.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality environments is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with food handling safety standards and sanitation procedures.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting heavy loads.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure all items are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting culinary staff during busy service times.
- Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment and cleaning supplies is advantageous.
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
