We are seeking a highly skilled Electromechanical Assembler to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling complex electromechanical components and systems, ensuring precision and adherence to quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical and electrical knowledge, with experience in PCB assembly, soldering, and interpreting schematics. Responsibilities
- Assemble electromechanical devices by following detailed schematics, technical drawings, and work instructions.
- Solder surface mount technology (SMT) components onto printed circuit boards (PCBs) using IPC 610 standards.
- Install electrical wiring and connect components utilizing hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment.
- Verify component placement and solder joints through visual inspection and testing procedures.
- Use calipers, ohmmeters, and other measurement tools to ensure parts meet specified tolerances.
- Interpret schematics and electrical diagrams to troubleshoot assembly issues effectively.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with safety regulations.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve assembly processes and implement quality improvements.
- Conduct functional testing of assembled units to confirm operational performance.
- Document assembly activities accurately for traceability and quality assurance purposes.
Requirements
- Proven experience in electromechanical assembly within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of PCB fabrication, surface mount technology (SMT), and soldering techniques.
- Familiarity with IPC 610 standards for electronic assemblies.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and wiring diagrams.
- Mechanical knowledge including machining, use of hand tools, power tools, and calipers.
- Electrical experience with wiring, testing, and troubleshooting circuits using ohmmeters or multimeters.
- Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is a plus.
- Knowledge of electrical components such as resistors, capacitors, connectors, and relays.
- Attention to detail with excellent manual dexterity for precise assembly work.
