Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and assist with placing to-go orders via phone or in person using restaurant table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
- Manage incoming phone calls with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
- Confirm order details, provide accurate estimated pickup times, and answer any guest questions clearly and confidently.
- Prepare and package orders efficiently while maintaining food safety standards and ensuring order accuracy.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of orders and communicate any special requests or dietary needs effectively.
- Maintain organized records of all to-go transactions, including order details and payment processing through POS systems.
- Support guest relations by providing friendly service, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a positive experience that encourages repeat visits.
Requirements
- Previous experience in restaurant reservation management, host/hostess roles, or food service is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with restaurant table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly both over the phone and in person.
- Basic math skills for processing payments accurately using POS systems.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple orders efficiently during busy times.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper handling procedures.
- Experience in hospitality or guest services roles is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism.
