We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Registered Nurse (RN) - PRN to join our healthcare team serving the Kalamazoo and Battle Creek, Michigan area. Requirements:
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing (RN) program.
- Licensure: Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Michigan.
- Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
- Experience: Previous clinical, hospital, or direct patient care experience preferred.
- Core Skills: Strong critical thinking abilities, excellent verbal and written communication skills, patient assessment expertise, and the ability to work effectively in a PRN/float capacity.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in accordance with established nursing standards, organizational policies, and best practices.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapeutic interventions as prescribed by physicians and authorized healthcare providers.
- Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions, identifying and reporting significant changes promptly.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate, thorough, and timely patient documentation in accordance with regulatory and facility requirements.
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality while delivering compassionate, patient-centered care.
