The ideal candidate will confidently guide patients through their recommended treatment options, answer questions with compassion and clarity, and help create a seamless experience from consultation through scheduling. This role is an important part of helping patients feel informed, valued, and confident in their dental care decisions.

Key Responsibilities
- Present treatment plans clearly and confidently in person and by phone when needed
- Explain procedures, treatment sequencing, and expected outcomes in a way patients can easily understand
- Review estimated costs, payment options, and financing arrangements
- Verify insurance benefits and clearly communicate coverage details
- Schedule patient appointments for treatment, consultations, and follow-ups based on clinical recommendations
- Answer patient questions with professionalism, empathy, and clarity
- Perform front office duties including answering phones, patient check-in/check-out, and general administrative support
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in practice management software (Open Dental)
- Track treatment acceptance and follow up with patients to support scheduling and completion of care
- Collaborate closely with clinical and front office teams to ensure a smooth patient experience
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience as a Dental Treatment Coordinator required
- Experience with Open Dentalpractice management software is a plus
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Comfortable discussing insurance and financial options
- Positive, professional, and patient-focused attitude
Preferred (Nice to Have)
- Bilingual (Spanish preferred)
- Experience with case presentation and scheduling workflows
- Proven ability to convert treatment plans into scheduled appointment
Schedule
- Monday-Fridays (no weekends)
Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
