Duties
- Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal to uphold high cleanliness standards.
- Handle and apply floor cleaning chemicals safely during floor scrubbing, waxing, buffing, and refinishing to restore floors’ appearance and durability.
- Operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, polishers, carpet extractors, and other janitorial tools efficiently and safely.
- Conduct specialized floor care procedures including floor buffing, waxing, refinishing, and carpet cleaning to maintain optimal flooring conditions.
- Manage chemical agent handling with strict adherence to safety protocols while using appropriate personal protective equipment.
- Assist with heavy lifting tasks related to moving cleaning supplies or equipment to ensure efficient workflow.
- Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities, chemical usage, and equipment maintenance for accountability and safety compliance.
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services with a focus on environmental safety practices.
- Strong knowledge of floor care techniques such as scrubbing, waxing, buffing, and refinishing.
- Ability to handle cleaning chemicals responsibly while understanding their proper application and safety measures.
- Skilled in operating various cleaning equipment including floor buffers, scrubbers, vacuums, and carpet extractors.
- Excellent manual handling skills with the physical stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing or walking.
- Exceptional customer service skills to interact professionally with clients and team members.
- Familiarity with janitorial procedures, custodial standards, and environmental services best practices.

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
