We are seeking a passionate and dedicated RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) Applied Behavior Analysis Therapist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will work directly with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder, to implement individualized behavior intervention plans. Responsibilities
- Implement behavior intervention plans developed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to promote skill acquisition and reduce challenging behaviors.
- Collect and record data on client progress and behavior using precise data collection methods to inform ongoing treatment strategies.
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, hygiene, feeding, and other self-care routines, to support independence.
- Use applied behavior analysis techniques to teach communication, social skills, and adaptive behaviors in various settings.
- Collaborate with team members to develop, update, and follow individualized care plans tailored to each client’s needs.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation, behavioral records, and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations for client confidentiality.
- Foster a positive, patient-centered environment by demonstrating patience, empathy, and effective behavior management strategies during therapy sessions.
Qualifications
- Valid certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or willingness to obtain certification prior to employment.
- Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavior management techniques, and data collection methods.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance.
- Ability to assist with ADLs and support clients in achieving their personal goals within a compassionate framework.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Pay: $28.68 - $33.00 per hour
