Summary Objective
The purpose of this position is to assess and counsel clients regarding nutrition needs. Prepare training
materials and instruct clients in nutrition principles, diet, food selection and economics.
This class works under general supervision, independently developing work methods and sequences.

OTHER MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Must be licensed as a Dietitian or certified as a Nutritionist by the Kentucky Board of Licensure and Certification for Dietitians and Nutritionists within one year of employment per KRS 310.021 and/or KRS 310.031.
Must have completed a Dietetic internship.
Must be vaccinated for hepatitis B, have provided evidence of immunity, or have signed a declination form within ten days of initial assignment.
Must provide one's own source of transportation.
Must possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license with an acceptable driving history.
Must wear personal protective equipment as mandated by OSHA.
Requires flexibility to work varied schedules, which may include changes in work hours or work location, in accordance with operational needs
