Senior Living Specialists of California (SLSofCA)
Come help us help senior's families and the community that serves them! S*enior Living Specialists of California, LLC (SLSofCA) is seeking to hire marketers that have prior experience in LA Metro and Orange County areas and having experience in outreach for services to seniors in healthcare and related services.* The job ideally fits licensed social workers and case managers and marketers on a part-time basis as Resource Advocates to increase the network of referral sources for SLSofCA and help establish us as the premiere senior living advisory and placement agency in the LA Metro and Orange County area. We aim to grow the relationships that SLSofCA has with senior services professionals and with families needing help with their loved ones, leading to an increased level of exposure and interaction with those serving the senior community and ultimately increase senior placements by SLSofCA.
What Will You Do as a Resource Advocate?
- You will work in an outreach/marketing function to your peers at companies and non-profits that work with seniors and their families in all healthcare and related fields - focusing on healthcare providers that treat and discharge seniors from care.
- By reaching out to your peers and colleagues in similar jobs with companies or nonprofits providing services to seniors, you will introduce and educate your peers on:
- (a) how SLSofCA works with seniors, their families, and other services providers when helping them help seniors in all facets of their aging journey
- (b) explain how SLSofCA helps, at the appropriate time, plan their senior living journeys and matching them to appropriate communities once the need for such transitions arise, and
- (c) provide SLSofCA the relevant contact information for the peers that you have contacted.
- Preferably, you will retain your current jobs with healthcare services providers and remain in good standing with your existing employers. We have no intention of, and our program is not designed to, recruit you away from permanent work.
