We are seeking Adaptive Skill Training (AST) Case Workers to provide life-changing support to adults with intellectual disabilities who are navigating the legal system.
Desired Skills & Expertise: Your Toolkit for Impact
Only candidates residing within 25 miles of one of the specified service areas are considered for this position. You must have a master's or bachelor’s degree in education, psychology, counseling, nursing, social work, applied behavior analysis, behavioral medicine, speech and language, rehabilitation, marriage and family therapy, or a comparable degree in a human services field.
At least one year of experience designing and implementing AST service plans or supporting individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities.
Reliable transportation is a must. Valid California Driver’s License, Automotive Insurance, and CPR/ 1st Aid are required. Extensive background clearance is required, including a 3-year Motor Vehicle Report.

What You’ll Do
· Empower through Coaching: Provide one-on-one counseling and responsibility training to help clients manage their daily lives and meet court requirements.
· Be a Field Advocate: Spend 95% of your time in the community, meeting clients where they are to provide real-world guidance.
· Drive Positive Change: Teach critical thinking, conflict resolution, and behavioral modification to deter anti-social behavior.
· Ensure Compliance: Help clients navigate the complexities of court orders to ensure they remain on the path to success.
