Nuclear Outage Project Managers (Electrical & Mechanical)
Start: Onboarding August 2026
Duration: 4+ months (60-day outage + pre and post outage; AUG - NOV)
Per Diem: GSA lodging & M&IE (7 days per week)
Aug 1 - Sep 30 & Oct 1 - May 31 (off-peak/other): $249.00/day
Mob / Demob: Expenses covered
Hours: 40 hrs per week; plus Overtime - 7x12s

Project Details:
We are seeking an Outage Project Manager with an electrical background to support PM implementation during Diablo Canyon's fall outage. This is a short-term assignment supporting a 60-day outage scheduled for October, with onboarding in August and release in November. The role provides project management support to the outage effort and is well-suited to an experienced PM comfortable with the pace and hours of outage work.
Responsibilities:
- Provide project management support for electrical scope during the plant outage
- Manage and track project schedule, cost, and performance to keep work within scope and on time
- Coordinate across engineering, operations, maintenance, and craft teams during the outage
- Monitor work progress and hours, and support resolution of emergent issues
- Support pre-outage planning and post-outage close-out activities
- Report status and issues to the client throughout the outage
Requirements:
- Prior project management experience in a nuclear power plant environment
- Electrical projects background
- Demonstrated outage experience as a project manager
- Ability to work extended outage schedules (7x12s) for the duration of the outage
- Must be able to obtain and maintain unescorted access authorization at a nuclear facility
Qualifications:
- Prior outage PM experience at a nuclear generating station
- Strong coordination and communication skills across multidisciplinary teams
Pay: $85.00 - $95.00 per hour
