Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic logistics and distribution team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations, including inventory management, order fulfillment, shipping and receiving, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to warehouse tasks. Duties
- Assist with inventory management by accurately tracking stock levels using warehouse management software and ERP systems.
- Prepare orders for shipment by picking, packing, and labeling products according to customer specifications.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely to load and unload trucks.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse to ensure safety standards are met.
- Support shipping logistics by coordinating with carriers, preparing shipping documentation, and ensuring compliance with trade regulations.
- Perform data entry related to inventory updates, order processing, and shipment tracking using AS400 or similar systems.
- Assist with stock replenishment and stocking activities to ensure product availability.
- Collaborate with customer service teams to resolve order discrepancies or delivery issues promptly.
- Ensure proper packaging of goods for international trade compliance and secure transportation.
- Support warehouse distribution activities by managing order picking & packing processes efficiently.
Experience
- Prior experience working in a warehouse environment or distribution center is preferred.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations including shipping & receiving, inventory management software, and ERP systems such as AS400 or MRP platforms.
- Knowledge of shipping logistics, trade compliance, and international trade regulations is advantageous.
- Basic math skills necessary for inventory counts, measurements, and calculations related to order fulfillment.
- Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, or other warehouse equipment is desirable; certification is a plus.
- Strong data entry skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety procedures and quality standards in a fast-paced setting.
