Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher to inspire and support students across diverse learning needs. Duties
- Design and deliver tailored lesson plans that incorporate curriculum development, educational technology integration, and instructional modifications suitable for students with disabilities or special needs.
- Implement individualized education programs (IEPs) to meet each student’s unique learning goals while ensuring compliance with special education law and educational regulations.
- Utilize behavioral therapy techniques, applied behavior analysis (ABA), and other behavioral management strategies to support positive behavior and social skills development.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues on instructional design, classroom management, and teaching strategies to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians to provide updates on progress, discuss concerns, and coordinate support strategies for continued growth.
- Assess student progress through standardized testing, formative assessments, and ongoing observation; adjust instruction accordingly to maximize achievement.
- Support students’ social-emotional well-being by incorporating recreational therapy, music therapy, or other therapeutic approaches as needed.
Skills
- Proven experience working with children or students with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, or visual/hearing impairments.
- Strong knowledge of special education laws, IEP development, instructional modifications, and educational compliance standards.
- Expertise in speech therapy techniques, literacy education, math instruction, early childhood education, and preschool or toddler care.
- Proficiency in learning technology tools, educational software applications, and assistive devices to enhance classroom learning.
- Excellent classroom management skills combined with effective behavior management for students with diverse needs.
- Ability to communicate clearly and compassionately with students, parents, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
- Experience in curriculum development for inclusive settings such as Montessori or preschool environments; familiarity with private school settings is a plus.
- Skills in instructional design, tutoring strategies, standardized testing preparation, and mentoring students toward academic success.
