You will be the Systems Engineer Principal - Level 6 for the Integrated Fighter Group (IFG) Line‑of‑Business Systems Engineering team which is responsible for advancing F‑16 system design and integration.
**What You Will Be Doing**
As the Systems Engineer Principal - Level 6 you will be responsible for steering the F‑16 system‑design effort, aligning technical content with portfolio strategy, and ensuring seamless integration across Aeronautics lines of business.

- Define and manage the processes used for F‑16 system design while guaranteeing technical rigor.
- Shape the strategic view of the portfolio by scoping and prioritizing development efforts.
- Integrate the F‑16 design approach with other Aeronautics lines of business and Model‑Based Systems Engineering initiatives.
- Partner with the Program Office on Model‑Based Systems Engineering and digital‑transformation projects.
- Serve as the primary System Design liaison between the F‑16 program and the Government Program Office.

**Further Information About This Opportunity**
MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must possess an active Secret clearance to start.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in a relevant technical discipline
- Experience within Systems Engineering and/or Engineering Management
- Secret security clearance.
Desired Skills:
- INCOSE Certification (ASEP, CSEP, ESEP)
- CAMEO experience preferred; DOORS knowledge helpful
- Systems Engineering design experience with architecture, requirements, and verification development and execution
- Proposal experience writing and reviewing BOEs
- Excellent communication skills defining strategy to senior leadership, industry partners and the Customer
Security Clearance Statement:
This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level:
Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Ability to Work Remotely:
Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position:
4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
