American Traveler is hiring an LPN with LTC experience for a 13-week travel assignment at a state veterans home in Hawaii, providing skilled nursing care to a veteran patient population.

Long-term care facility serving a veteran patient population

Performs assessments, treatments, medication administration, gastrostomy tube care, urinary catheter care, nebulized treatments, wound vac care, and CPAP care

Scheduled for variable shifts based on census and facility need

13-week assignment

Current Hawaii LPN license required if applicable

Minimum 2 years of LPN experience required

LTC setting experience required

Current BLS/BCLS certification required

Proof of flu vaccination or facility-approved medical/religious exemption required prior to start

Responsibilities include patient admissions and discharges, ADL assistance, wound care, and communication of pertinent information to MD/NP

Candidates must arrive the Thursday prior to the assignment start date to complete an employee health appointment on Friday

Flu vaccination may be administered at the employee health clearance appointment if needed
