POSITION: CA State Certified Electrician (Telecom / EV)
Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated CA State Certified Electrician specializing in Telecom and Electric Vehicle (EV) infrastructure. This dynamic role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects across telecommunications, EV charging stations, and electrical systems within commercial and industrial settings.
Position Overview
The Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems related to telecom and EV charging infrastructure. This role requires the ability to work unsupervised, strong field execution, attention to detail, and the ability to operate efficiently in dynamic job site environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications to determine the layout of electrical systems
- Install, terminate, and test wiring, conduit, and electrical components across low, medium, and high voltage systems
- Perform work on DC power systems, including telecom and EV infrastructure applications
- Install panels, breakers, grounding systems, and associated equipment
- Perform generator installations, including integration of Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS)
- Execute cutovers and system transitions with minimal disruption to operations
- Perform testing for continuity, safety, and code compliance
- Ensure all work meets NEC, California state, and local code requirements
- Work independently in the field while coordinating with project managers and team members as needed
- Maintain job site safety standards and complete required documentation
- Perform plan take-offs & order material
Qualifications
- Valid CA State Certified Electrician license with specialization in Telecom or EV infrastructure (required)
- Valid California Driver's license
- Strong knowledge of NEC standards, low voltage wiring, high voltage systems, schematics reading, and blueprint interpretation.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other electrical testing devices
- Ability to work overtime and travel within California and Arizona
- Excellent problem-solving skills combined with the ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments.
Preferred Experience
- EV charging infrastructure (Level 2 / DC Fast Charging)
- AC & DC Systems
- Generator installs and backup power systems
- OSHA 30 Certification (preferred; we can assist qualified candidates in obtaining certification)
- CPR / First Aid Certification
- RF or low-voltage experience
- EVITP Certification (preferred; we can assist qualified candidates in obtaining certification)
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Capable of standing, bending, climbing, and performing physical labor (including trenching when required)

Pay: $45.00 - $55.00 per hour
