Revolution Orthotics & Prosthetics is a family-owned practice dedicated to providing exceptional orthotic and prosthetic care. We are looking for a compassionate, organized, and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Orthotic Assistant / Patient Intake & Insurance Coordinator.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in a medical office who enjoys helping patients, working with insurance, and being an important part of a close-knit healthcare team. You will play a key role in ensuring our patients receive timely care while helping navigate the insurance process from referral through delivery.
What You'll Do
- Welcome patients and provide outstanding customer service
- Answer incoming phone calls and assist patients with scheduling
- Register new patients and collect demographic and insurance information
- Verify insurance eligibility and benefits
- Obtain referrals and prior authorizations
- Communicate with physician offices regarding required documentation
- Process incoming referrals and ensure all necessary documentation has been received
- Maintain accurate patient records within the Electronic Health Record (EHR)
- Collect copayments and patient balances
- Scan, fax, and upload medical records and physician documentation
- Assist with ordering office supplies and maintaining an organized office
- Support referral sources through timely communication and follow-up
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming office environment

- A strong communicator both on the phone and in person
- Reliable, motivated, and eager to learn
- Able to work independently while supporting a collaborative team
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in one or more of the following is preferred:
- Medical receptionist
- Medical assistant
- Physical therapy office
- Orthopedic practice
- Chiropractic office
- Dental office
- Medical billing or insurance verification
- Prior authorization or referral coordination
Experience with insurance verification, authorizations, and electronic health records is highly valued, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
Compensation
$20–30 per hour, depending on experience.
Candidates with prior experience in insurance verification, prior authorizations, medical scheduling, or orthotics and prosthetics may qualify for higher starting pay.

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
