Job Summary:
The Project Manager (PM) role combines responsibilities in both sales and project management. The PM’s role in sales starts at lead generation from in-house relationships and bid boards, moving through estimating and effectively closing the sale at project award. Project Management duties include the successful execution of construction projects from pre-construction through closeout, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. In addition, this role includes relationship management with general contractors, clients, and house accounts, serving as a representative of the company in both operational and sales-related capacities.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Generate leads through existing relationships and networking.
- Bid/estimates based on leads and follows up with customers through project award.
- Lead all phases of assigned construction projects from planning through closeout.
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources.
- Utilize CRM to manage leads/deals through the bidding process. Upon award, manage project details, dates, status and schedule of values.
- Coordinate vendors and internal teams to ensure smooth execution.
- Conduct site visits, when necessary to monitor progress, safety compliance, and quality control.
- Maintain detailed project documentation, including contracts, RFIs, change orders, and daily reports.
- Proactively identify and resolve issues that could impact timelines or costs.
- Communicate project updates to leadership and clients with transparency and professionalism.
- Ensure all work meets company standards, and client expectations/specifications.
Customer Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for house accounts and repeat clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with general contractors, architects, and clients.
- Attend networking events, job walks, and pre-bid meetings to foster industry relationships.
- Ensure client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle and beyond.
- Respond to service or warranty requests promptly and professionally.
Sales & Business Development (House Accounts)
- Manage inbound opportunities and develop scopes, budgets, and proposals for existing clients and house accounts.
- Collaborate with estimating and pre-construction teams to develop accurate bids.
- Identify opportunities for additional work on existing projects or through ongoing client needs.
- Support company growth by nurturing long-term partnerships with key clients.
- Maintain CRM or internal tracking systems for sales activity and account development.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
