Job Summary
The Safety Training Administrator is responsible for coordinating, tracking, and maintaining all employee safety training requirements. This role ensures that all personnel remain current with required certifications and that training classes are scheduled and executed efficiently. The position works closely with the Senior Safety Administrator and Safety Management Team to support compliance, workforce readiness, and ongoing safety initiatives.
Duties
- Coordinate and schedule all safety training classes based on company needs and regulatory requirements
- Monitor employee training status to ensure no certifications or required training expires
- Proactively identify upcoming expirations and notify employees and supervisors in advance
- Reach out to employees who are nearing expiration and ensure they are enrolled in required training sessions
- Work directly with internal and external trainers to schedule, confirm, and manage training sessions
- Maintain accurate training records and documentation for all employees
- Enter and update training completions in the company’s tracking system, ensuring employees receive proper credit
- Collaborate with the Senior Safety Administrator and Safety Management Team to align training efforts with company safety goals
- Assist in generating reports on training compliance, expirations, and overall program status
- Support audits and client requests by providing up-to-date training documentation
- Identify gaps in training participation or scheduling and recommend improvements
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
- Experience in training coordination, administration, or safety-related roles is a plus
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Attention to detail, especially in tracking deadlines and compliance requirements
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to follow up consistently and professionally
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or training management systems
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Pay: From $80,000.00 per year
