The Gig
We're building a nurse practitioner education app and need on-camera talent to bring our lessons to life. You'll be the face of short-form videos (roughly 30 to 90 seconds each) breaking down NP topics for students and aspiring nurse practitioners. Think energetic, clear, and a little fun — not stiff lecture-hall vibes.
Each shoot day runs 2–4 hours at our downtown Miami location and we'll knock out a batch of videos in one go. We're starting with a one-time shoot to see how it goes. If you crush it, this becomes an ongoing side gig as we scale up our content library.
Our Ideal Candidate
You're one (or more) of these:
- A current RN or actively practicing nurse
- A nurse educator
- A nursing professor or clinical instructor
…and you've got the kind of personality that makes people actually pay attention. Upbeat, energetic, comfortable on camera, and genuinely excited about helping the next wave of NPs succeed.
Also Important
- Strong grasp of nurse practitioner content — you can teach it conversationally, not just read off a script.
- Clear speaking voice and confident pronunciation of medical terminology.
- Reliable, on-time, and easy to work with. We want this to be fun, not stressful.
Requirements
- Current RN (recent grads welcome to apply if you've got the on-camera spark).
- Must be local to Miami or able to get to downtown Miami for shoots on your own.
- Come shoot-ready: hair and makeup done. We provide the scrubs.
Pay
$100/hour, paid per shoot session (2–4 hours).
How to Apply — Read This Part!
We don't care about your resume nearly as much as we care about your on-camera presence. So instead of a cover letter, send us a test video. Here's exactly what to do:
- Open the script. Tap this link to read the test script: https://drive.google.com/file/d/14aPcTyHnhWTzHxrwpsLUcu35u4VvDSSH/view?usp=drive_link
- Film yourself on your phone. Start the video by saying your name and current occupation or title, then read the script straight through so we can see your on-camera performance and how you pronounce the technical terms. We're looking for energy, clarity, and confidence with medical terminology — not production value. Don't worry about lighting, background, or fancy equipment.
- Upload your video here: https://www.dropbox.com/request/4wacu4jde0hb7arbvviu — Tap the link, add your video, and you're done. No account or login needed. Tip: name your file with your name so we can keep track of you.
Quick filming notes: Vertical orientation, decent audio (skip the echoey bathroom), and just be yourself.
Excited to meet you!
Pay: $100.00 per hour
