Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (Med/Surg RN) for a 13-week travel assignment in Gardner, Massachusetts. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to adult medical-surgical patients while collaborating with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure excellent clinical outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility policies.
- Monitor patient conditions and promptly communicate changes to the healthcare team.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record.
- Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and ancillary staff to deliver coordinated care.
- Adhere to infection control, safety, and regulatory standards.
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of Medical-Surgical nursing experience preferred.
- Current Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) License.
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, and critical-thinking skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced acute care environment.
Pay: $2,200.00 - $2,300.00 per week
