We’re Hiring! Attorney (Full-Time or Part-Time)
At Law Works Illinois by Harmening Law, LLC, we believe good legal work doesn’t have to come with burnout and endless office hours. We’re growing and looking for an attorney who is motivated, organized, client-focused, and ready to join a supportive team that values flexibility and real work-life balance. We have offices in Chicago and Orland Park, but encourage all staff to work where they are comfortable and able to be the most productive.
What the role looks like:
- Primarily remote
- Flexible schedule (because not all great lawyers thrive in a 9–5)
- Court appearances and occasional office days as needed
- Opportunity to independently manage cases while still having team support
What you’ll do:
- Communicate with clients and guide them through their cases
- Draft pleadings, motions, and legal correspondence
- Attend hearings and court appearances
- Work collaboratively with our team to keep cases moving efficiently
- Grow as a professional through in-depth experience and continuing legal education provided by the firm
What we’re looking for:
- Licensed attorney in Illinois
- Empathy and compassion for your clients
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Someone who can work independently and stay proactive
- Courtroom experience is a plus
- Family law experience is a plus

Pay: $60,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
