American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN for a 13-week travel contract, requiring orthopedic/sports medicine experience, robotics proficiency, and Epic EMR expertise.

Work setting is a hospital-based Operating Room serving both inpatient (30%) and outpatient (70%) populations, with 10% pediatric cases
-
Surgical specialties include ortho, general surgery, urology, gynecology, spine, ENT, total joints, neuro/spine, OB-GYN, plastics, robotics, trauma, and vascular
-
Schedule is days, 4x10-hour shifts, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM
-
On-call shifts are 12 hours; weekday call runs 7 PM–7 AM, and weekend/holiday call runs either 7 PM–7 AM or 7 AM–7 PM
-
On-call responsibilities are shared evenly among approximately 15 RNs
-
Weekend coverage is for on-call support only

Floating to other campuses may be required

Epic EMR experience required

Active WA RN license or compact RN license currently in hand

BLS required; ACLS preferred

Minimum 2 years of OR RN experience required

Orthopedic/sports medicine experience required

Robotics experience required

Proficiency with procedural sedation, blood/blood products administration, drains, epidural pumps, PICC/central lines, Port-A-Cath/vascular device access and care, and wound VAC required

Scrub experience preferred

ENT experience with endoscope preferred

Full SSN and DOB required for consideration

Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting required for consideration

Former permanent staff of Swedish/Providence facilities are not eligible for this position

Travelers are expected to float between all facilities within Washington state; refusal to float may result in termination of the assignment

Minimal RTO is strongly preferred for this position
