If applying as a: Shift Leads must have their own transportation and be able to open and close multiple days a week. If under the age of 18 must be home-schooled and have schedule flexibility. Must be able to open the store at 10:30 am and close on various nights at 10 pm!!
Hourly rate
SERVER: $8.00/hr base rate. With hourly tips you can expect to make $14.00-15.00/hr
SHIFT LEAD: $10.00/hr base rate. With hourly tips you can expect to make $16.00-17.00/hr

Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of Italian ice flavors with precision and enthusiasm, ensuring quality and presentation meet company standards
- Operate POS systems to process orders accurately and efficiently
- Engage with customers to take orders, upsell products, and promote specials to enhance sales opportunities
- Handle cash transactions with accuracy, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including food handling, bussing tables, and cleaning equipment in accordance with food safety standards
- Assist in food preparation tasks as needed, supporting the team in delivering quick service during busy hours
- Support overall store operations by managing inventory, restocking supplies, and ensuring a welcoming environment for guests
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or quick service & fast food restaurants is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Revel or Genius is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with guests
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and managing transactions accurately
- Experience in food handling, sanitation practices, or working in a café or retail environment is advantageous
- Ability to manage time effectively during busy periods while maintaining attention to detail
- Prior restaurant experience or grocery store background will support your success in this role
