Rutland County Head Start is seeking dedicated early childhood education Substitute Teachers to join our comprehensive, integrated, and family-centered early childhood program. Substitute Teacher Qualifications:
- BA in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or related field (early childhood education coursework) preferred
- Teaching License_ preferred_with Early Childhood Education Endorsement
- At least two years of experience working within a preschool classroom preferred
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance meeting Vermont state requirements.
- Successful completion of a criminal history background check after hire.

Head Start is a federally-funded, national child and family development program which provides comprehensive services for pregnant women, children from birth to age five, and their families.
