Responsibilities
- Safely operate packaging machinery and hand tools to assemble and prepare products for shipment
- Follow detailed packaging instructions, including labeling, sealing, and stacking items securely
- Inspect finished packages to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Utilize warehouse equipment such as forklifts when necessary to move materials or finished goods within the facility
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the packing area to promote safety and efficiency
- Document packaging activities accurately, including batch numbers and packaging dates
- Assist with inventory management by organizing supplies and reporting low stock levels
Skills
- Mechanical knowledge to operate packaging machinery and hand tools effectively
- Experience with packaging processes within a manufacturing or warehouse setting
- Ability to use hand tools safely and efficiently during assembly tasks
- Warehouse experience, including forklift operation.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to follow precise instructions
