In this role, you will assist in tracking current/historical fleet health and keep constant situational awareness of the fleet status. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth handoff of hardware/software from development to operations.
We're looking for someone that has 1-2 years of experience working in a fast-paced service environment. Ideally you are familiar with automotive repair processes and fundamentals.
Travel Requirement: One week of travel to Foster City, CA is required during the first month of the assignment.
As a Fleet Support Specialist, you'll:
- Work with the scheduling team to book repairs on vehicles and monitor/update fleet health.
- Perform quality inspection of repair orders by reviewing open vehicle issues and generating actions.
- Maintain accurate record keeping and historical vehicle health/repair data.
- Identify and support the development of technical documentation.
- Support the development of daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting.
- Close the loop on repair feedback to drive product improvements.
- Provide assistance to the PMs with meeting high-level targets.
- Assist with ordering parts, ensuring their availability for repairs.
- Work in the repair shop alongside the technicians, technician leads, engineers, and other cross-functional team members.
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a fast-paced service or automotive environment.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
Willingness to Travel: Up to 50% travel may be required.
Automotive Knowledge: Familiarity with automotive repair processes and fundamentals.
This role will require safety boots that conform to ASTM F2412 / F2413 requirements.
Pay: $30.00 - $43.00 per hour
