VIP staffing is Immediately hiring a Warehouse associate for a leading organization in Albuquerque
This is a Full Time Temp to hire position with a schedule of Monday - Friday 8am-5pm
Pay for this position is $17.00 per hour
As a Warehouse Associate you will:
- Safely operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers to move, load, and unload materials.
- Pick, pack, and prepare products for distributors, web orders, seminars, and internal production needs.
- Process shipments using systems such as UPS, FedEx, ShipStation, and internal warehouse management tools.
- Receive incoming shipments, verify quantities and condition of materials, and store products in designated locations.
- Maintain accurate inventory through cycle counts, stock organization, and inventory tracking systems.
- Prepare shipping documents, packing slips, and international shipping paperwork as required.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organizaed warehouse while following OSHA and company safety standards.
- Communicate with supervisors and team members regarding order status, shipping needs, and inventory issues.
Warehouse Associates must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Highschool Diploma or equivelent
- Proven experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers with familiarity in warehouse management systems
- Ability to effectively use a computer to access e-mails, orders, and shipping programs
- Have strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Valid certification or experience operating equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, cranes, or order pickers.
- Ability to be certified on Forklift if not already certified
- Strong knowledge of inventory management techniques including inventory control, shipping & receiving procedures, and stock management.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently, standing walking, bending, stooping and twisting throughout your entire shift.
