Business Development Community Liaison – ABA Therapy (Statewide North Carolina)
Blossom ABA Therapy is one of the Southeast's fastest-growing providers of in-home ABA therapy for children with autism, serving families across North Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee, Virginia, and Maryland. We're looking for a relationship-builder — someone who lights up a room, remembers names, and loves being on the road — to become the face of Blossom across the entire state of North Carolina.
Your mission: build lasting referral relationships with pediatricians, child psychologists, developmental specialists, and the broader autism community, so that every family who needs ABA therapy knows Blossom is here to help their child thrive.
This is a field-based role. Your office is your car, a coffee shop in Asheville, a pediatric practice in Raleigh, a lunch-and-learn in Charlotte. If you'd rather be out meeting people than sitting behind a desk, keep reading.
What You'll Do
Build and manage a statewide network of referral partners: pediatricians, psychologists, psychiatrists, developmental pediatric clinics, diagnosticians, school counselors, and daycare/early intervention programs
Plan and host lunch-and-learns, office drop-ins, and educational presentations that teach provider offices how ABA therapy works and how to refer families to Blossom
Represent Blossom at autism walks, resource fairs, parent support groups, and community events across North Carolina
Own the full referral pipeline: identify target practices, make first contact, nurture the relationship, and follow up until referrals flow consistently
Track all outreach activity, contacts, and referral outcomes in our CRM and report on pipeline growth
Partner with our clinical and intake teams so every referred family gets a fast, warm handoff
Serve as the voice of the community back to leadership — what providers need, what families are asking for, where we should grow next
What You'll Bring
2+ years of experience in business development, outside sales, community outreach, or provider relations (healthcare, behavioral health, home health, hospice, or pharma strongly preferred)
Existing relationships with pediatric or behavioral health providers in North Carolina are a major plus
Familiarity with ABA therapy, autism services, or pediatric therapy (speech, OT, PT) is a plus — passion for the mission is required
A self-starter's engine: you build your own calendar, fill your own pipeline, and don't wait to be told where to go
Polished, warm communication — you're equally comfortable presenting to a room of physicians and chatting with a parent at a resource fair
Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and willingness to travel throughout North Carolina (mileage reimbursed; overnight travel occasionally)
Proficiency with CRM tools, email, and basic presentation software
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, healthcare administration, or related field preferred (equivalent experience welcome)
