Location: Cincinnati, Columbus, Walton, Detroit, Louisville
Yard Crew team members must be dependable and hardworking as they play a pivotal role at each of our store locations. Responsibilities include organizing materials, loading and unloading deliveries, maintaining the yard, and ensuring crews have the supplies they need for fencing installations and service jobs.

Packaging and assembly of vinyl products

Load and unload fencing materials, tools, and equipment for installation crews

Organize and maintain inventory of fence components, including wood, chain link, vinyl, aluminum, and steel

Prepare job materials in advance based on work orders or delivery schedules

Operate forklifts, skid steers, and other materialhandling equipment (training provided if needed)

Keep the yard clean, safe, and organized always.

Receive deliveries and check for accuracy against purchase orders.

Help with pulling and loading installers, contractors, and customer orders as needed.

Follow all safety protocols and use PPE as required.

Operate power tools, saws, drills, augers, and levels

Ensure all tools are used safely and correctly; maintain and clean tools and equipment after use

Assist with basic repairs and maintenance of tools and small equipment

Cut and prepare materials for loading and unloading

Perform general shop or yard duties as needed

Follow instructions from supervisors and work effectively with installation crews

Follow job location safety protocols and wear required PPE

Communicate effectively with clients, supervisors, and crew members

Report on project issues or safety concerns to supervisor

Conduct deliveries of materials and tools to job sites using company provided truck and/ or trailer

High school diploma or GED preferred
-
Prior experience in a construction yard, warehouse, or fencing company is a plus

Ability to lift 5080 pounds repeatedly and perform strenuous labor in outdoor conditions

Forklift certification is preferred, or ability to be trained and certified

Good teamwork, communication, and timemanagement skills

Knowledge of wood, chainlink, vinyl, aluminum, and other fencing types

Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (required)

Able to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
