DDP Roofing Services, Inc. is seeking a highly organized, customer-focused Assistant Service Coordinator to join our growing team. Under the supervision of the Service Manager and Service Support Manager, this position plays a key role in supporting the Service Department by coordinating service calls, dispatching technicians, maintaining communication with customers and vendors, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
The ideal candidate is professional, detail-oriented, dependable, and thrives in a fast-paced environment while delivering excellent customer service.

Answer and respond promptly to customer phone calls and emails with professionalism and urgency

Schedule and dispatch Service Technicians to customer work orders

Maintain accurate service department documentation including time records, job logs, reports, and customer communications

Support after-hours response processes and assist technicians and employees as needed

Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, employees, vendors, and management

Maintain positive customer relationships and uphold DDP Roofing’s reputation for quality service

Assist with processing service call documentation to support payroll and accounting functions

Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and service department standards

Coordinate with administrative departments including Accounting and Human Resources

Help identify and resolve customer service or operational issues in a timely manner

Strong customer service and communication skills

Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities

Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks efficiently

Experience with scheduling, dispatching, or service coordination preferred

Proficient with Microsoft Office and general computer systems

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer

Ability to communicate effectively by phone and in person

Must be able to occasionally lift and carry office materials up to 15–20 pounds
