Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE Solution Architect to lead the architecture, design, and delivery of enterprise CRM solutions. This role requires deep expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement, the Microsoft Power Platform, system integrations, and enterprise solution architecture. The successful candidate will work closely with business and technical stakeholders to develop scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions while providing technical leadership throughout the implementation lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with clients to understand business goals, operational challenges, and technical requirements, translating them into scalable Dynamics 365 CE solutions.
- Lead all phases of Dynamics 365 CE implementations, including discovery, solution architecture, development oversight, testing, deployment, and production support.
- Conduct workshops and discovery sessions to document business processes, functional requirements, and data needs.
- Develop user journeys, process maps, solution designs, wireframes, architecture diagrams, and proof-of-concept solutions.
- Design and oversee customizations, extensions, integrations, and configurations within the Dynamics 365 CE platform.
- Define technical architecture for custom development, system integrations, and data migration while following Microsoft best practices.
- Present tailored solution demonstrations that address client business objectives and technical requirements.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, project teams, and developers to define project scope and technical direction.
- Produce and maintain architecture documentation, implementation roadmaps, and technical design artifacts.
- Support business development efforts through technical presentations, solution demonstrations, and client discussions.
- Improve delivery quality by promoting automation, reusable components, and best practices across development, testing, and deployment.
- Identify technical risks, dependencies, and potential issues early while recommending mitigation strategies.
- Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance to development teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Travel to client locations as needed for workshops, meetings, and project activities.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of seven years of experience implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions.
- Experience serving as the Solution Architect for at least one full Dynamics 365 implementation.
- Five or more years of enterprise experience designing, implementing, and supporting Microsoft Dynamics CRM/Dynamics 365 environments.
- Demonstrated ability to evaluate business requirements and design scalable Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions.
- Strong understanding of enterprise CRM architecture, solution design, and implementation best practices.
- Experience building business applications using Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
- Proficiency with C#, .NET, SQL Server, Microsoft Dynamics CRM SDK, custom plug-ins, and related Microsoft technologies.
- Experience managing complete software development lifecycle (SDLC) projects from requirements gathering through production support.
- Strong communication, presentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams, business stakeholders, and executive leadership.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% based on project requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with a Big Four consulting firm, a comparable consulting organization, or a Microsoft Solutions Partner.
- Experience supporting public sector or government clients.
- Familiarity with Agile or Hybrid Agile delivery methodologies.
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Microsoft Power Platform certifications.
