Responsibilities
- Assist with cleaning and sanitation of dining areas, kitchen spaces, and food preparation zones to meet health and safety standards
- Support bussing duties by clearing tables efficiently and preparing them for new guests
- Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of supplies, equipment, and food items using safe lifting practices
- Contribute to food service by serving dishes, beverages, and catering orders with professionalism and friendliness
- Maintain effective internal communication with team members to coordinate service flow and address guest needs promptly
- Set tables according to restaurant standards, ensuring proper placement of utensils, glassware, and condiments
- Support kitchen staff with food handling tasks when required, adhering strictly to food safety protocols
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality environments is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are valued highly
- Familiarity with restaurant operations such as table setting, serving, bussing, and sanitation procedures is advantageous
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices within the food industry is a plus
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely while managing heavy lifting requirements effectively
- Strong communication skills to collaborate seamlessly with team members and provide excellent customer service
- Experience in catering or hotel settings can be beneficial but is not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
