Duties
- Operate commercial dishwashing equipment to thoroughly clean dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen tools in accordance with food safety sanitizing procedures.
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks as directed, including organizing supplies and handling ingredients safely.
- Support bussing duties by clearing tables promptly and efficiently to maintain a clean dining area.
- Follow strict sanitation protocols to uphold kitchen health and safety standards, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
- Handle manual lifting of heavy pots, trays, and boxes safely while maintaining proper ergonomic techniques.
- Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen surfaces, floors, and equipment through routine cleaning and sanitizing.
- Support the kitchen team by operating basic kitchen equipment and assisting with food handling during busy service periods.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is highly valued.
