We are seeking a highly organized, experienced, and proactive Administrative Assistant to join our medical team. We are looking for someone who is intelligent, dependable, detail-oriented, and capable of operating in a medical office environment with professionalism and confidence.
The ideal candidate is someone who takes initiative, communicates exceptionally well, and understands the importance of creating an outstanding patient experience while supporting clinic operations in proactive manor.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive administrative support in a dynamic medical office setting.
- Deliver compassionate, high-quality service to patients at every touchpoint.
- Collaborate seamlessly with healthcare providers, owners, and team members to support daily operations.
- Manage patient scheduling, correspondence, and inter-office coordination.
- Verify insurance eligibility and coordinate effectively with third-party payers as needed.
- Maintain precise and up-to-date patient records within the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion and professionalism.
- Proactively anticipate clinic needs and resolve issues to optimize overall office efficiency.
- Ensure rigorous accuracy and attention to detail across all administrative workflows.
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of administrative experience in a medical office setting.
- Strong familiarity with medical terminology and Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- Proven experience managing insurance verification and coordinating with third-party payers.
- Ability to assist with taking vitals and patient triage as needed (secondary responsibility).
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- High proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Outlook.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
- A professional demeanor, strong work ethic, and a track record of dependable attendance.
