Assist professional technicians with vehicle or equipment maintenance, repairs, and shop upkeep. Responsibilities typically include handling tools, performing basic fluid changes, inspecting parts, and maintaining a clean work environment.
Typical Job Duties
- Maintenance Assistance: Help technicians with routine services like changing oil, replacing filters, and checking fluid levels.
- Shop Organization: Keep the workspace, tools, and equipment clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Parts Management: Assist with fetching, inventorying, and organizing auto parts.
- Basic Repairs: Perform minor repairs and inspections under the direct supervision of a licensed mechanic.
Key Requirements
- Experience: 0-2 years of mechanical or shop experience (vocational training is often a plus).
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy objects (typically \(50\) to \(75\) lbs), stand for long periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Tools: Basic set of hand tools is required If needed we can help supply some tools
- License: A valid Driver's License and a clean driving record is mandatory
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
