Responsible for all nursing care rendered to the patient while patient is in OR. Opens pack in approved standard manner, Follow proper infection control safety precautions in the performance of all duties, Assist the scrub tech. in preparing the OR for the next case, Make sure that the instruments/supplies correspond with the scheduled case. Must be willing to scrub. Previous experience in an ambulatory surgery preferred. Minimum of one year as an OR Nurse. Possesses a NYS License and current NYS registration as a professional registered nurse. Full-time available. Must have at least 2 years OR experience.
