Part-Time Activities Assistant – Assisted Living Community
Are you creative, energetic, and passionate about making a difference in the lives of older adults? We are seeking a Part-Time Activities Assistant to join our warm and welcoming Assisted Living community.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Activities Director in planning and leading a variety of recreational, social, and wellness programs.
- Engage residents in meaningful daily activities that promote independence, socialization, and joy.
- Encourage participation and provide one-on-one support for residents who may need extra assistance.
- Help with setup, clean-up, and transportation of residents to activities within the community.
- Contribute new ideas to enhance the overall activities program.
Qualifications:
- Compassionate, patient, and enthusiastic personality.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and engage seniors with varying interests and abilities.
- Previous experience in activities/recreation, caregiving, or customer service is a plus, but we are happy to train the right person.
- Must be dependable and able to work part-time, including some evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.

Pay: $16.50 - $16.75 per hour
