The Opportunity
Maintain housekeeping and 5S to standards set by management. Follow all WestRock Core Values and Behaviors. Additional job duties as assigned by department manager
Key Responsibilities
- Performs routine daily activities related to waste disposal
- Responsible for organizing and managing maintenance areas in a 5S capacity
- Coordinate day-to-day activities of any building, utilities, and grounds issues.
- Responsible for coordinating all construction projects
- Relay and promote departmental activities, SQF, safety and other issues
- Be conscious of all safety issues/concerns.
- Ability to work independently with little supervision
- Attention to detail
- Must be able to work well with others and keep a level in head in stressful situations
- Ability to carry out task which require a sequence of steps usually performed in a particular order
- Lift weights up to 50 lbs
- Must have good organizational skills
- Basic computer skills
