Job Summary
The Winery Tasting Room Associate is a guest-facing hospitality role responsible for delivering welcoming, engaging wine experiences in a historic and high-volume setting. Associates guide guests through wine tastings, support retail sales, and contribute to a positive, team-oriented environment while representing the winery with professionalism and warmth.
This role is active, social, and fast-paced, requiring confidence in public speaking, strong interpersonal skills, and a genuine passion for excellent hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead wine tastings for guests in both large group formats and smaller, one-on-one settings
- Create a welcoming, informative, and memorable experience for all guests
- Communicate wine information clearly and confidently, adapting to guest interest and knowledge level
- Support retail operations, including wine and gift shop sales
- Operate point-of-sale systems accurately and efficiently while promoting our wine offerings and merchandise
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the tasting room and retail areas
- Work collaboratively with fellow team members to ensure smooth daily operations
- Assist guests with general winery questions and directions throughout the property
- Uphold brand standards, hospitality values, and responsible alcohol service practices

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
