Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – ER/ICU to provide quality patient care while rotating between the Emergency Room (ER) and Intensive Care Unit (ICU). The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with the healthcare team to deliver safe, efficient, and compassionate care in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in both ER and ICU settings.
- Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with physicians and the care team to develop treatment plans.
- Educate patients and families on care plans and discharge instructions.
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow safety protocols.
Requirements:
- Active RN license.
- Recent experience in both ER and ICU (department rotation required).
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment.
- In-state travelers must live more than 250 miles from the facility.
